Operation Inspiration is a student-run organization determined to make an impact on our community through the little things.

It all started with a quote. It was an accident and it fell out of my bag. It said "Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change. -Confucius". All it took was a simple quote to inspire me to change and to be inspired and influenced by the world around me. With the motivation I took from that coincidence, I wondered If such an accident could motivate me, why don't I motivate others in the same way on purpose. It was a simple thought that sprung into a group effort, Operation Illumination. It is the little things in life, the smiles, gestures, thank-yous, that change our mood and affect how we act. Let's use these little things to illuminate our community and make a positive mark on our community.

Operation Illumination was founded in June of 2012 by Erin Thomas.
